There is a bitter sweet feeling here. On the one hand, I can take a load off, and not have to worry of not streaming for this event but on the other hand, I wasted time learning a game that I wanted to run for a good cause.
I can say for sure, this sucks. It’s for a good cause But if I was on the chopping block from day one. I would had liked if you just said “Your run was rejected cause reasons” OR rather been told your run can’t be allowed in. But it is what it is.
I will be watching the marathon to see MastaKirby run, race, and sing. A shame too. I had plans on joining but whatever. I’m not mad, just let down but whatever.

I had no plans on joining this event, After that last Sonic Speed R Transformed was a train wreck… But at first. I thought this was like a event where you stream a run, call it a day, and hit the hay. But NAH. MastaKirby talking about the event got me curious…
But what the heck. I will give this a go. A chance to promote my dead channel. While this may. And I say “”May”” Bring in new viewers.. I feel like it will be a waste of time, as I doubt anyone would want to watch.
BUT… At the same time, this will be my first real Twitch.TV event I’m joining, not counting Sonic Speed R or Sonic Speed R Transformed as that was something else. Where BigJon06 will be hosting a event is a much bigger deal since the streams will get noticed. But that doesn’t matter now.

Hi there. Sonik here with serious type of post. It's not too serious, No one cares about it but let's go on shall we?
So I made a post talking about a new rom hack I am making. This was going to be for HyperSonic7701 and Mastakirby. A gift to them and a indirect follow up to my last hack but more complete.
Sonic Hell, the named given by HyperSonic7701, Sonic Hell is meant to be my first "real" kaizo like hack of Sonic 1, The idea is to make the game hard but fair where a player can beat the game at least.
The hack will have many things:
New Level Layout
New Special stages
Level traps
Deadends
New pathways
Secret exits
Secret traps
With all this in mind, and what I have planned, I want to say that this may take a year to 6 months to have ready after testing the game and making sure Sonic speedrunners can't break the game too easily.
So I was thinking after I complete this sonic 1 rom hack. I was thinking of moving on to Sonic 2, but Sonic 2 is a much bigger game than Sonic 1. I would assume that Sonic 2 would take 2 to 3 years tops to do a complete overhaul and that is a turn off..
Then I look at Sonic 3 and knuckles and this could take roughly 2 to 5 years tops to complete and what started off was a simple dream turned into something else. But this opened my eyes that, this would be a waste of time to work on Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 and Knuckles rom hacks.
I could take my times with the hacks and work with one at a time and that could work but more then likely, I would get burned out pretty fast which would end in me just scraping the whole thing. And that would be no good.
So here is what I am offering or plan on doing is, completing the hack (Sonic 1 Hell) and stopping there. I had "plans" and I don't want to keep making Sonic hacks. Making hacks is fine but hacks are slowing down, not by much but just enough to feel that hacks are done.
When you make fan games, everyone can play it from the start and won't need to download any other tools to play your sonic rom hacks.
But once I finish the hack, I plan on giving people the tools to make their custom Sonic 1 game / hack. I did not make the tools but I have them set up for use, If you want to use them. This is just a idea and no plans to go forward with this has been set in stone...Yet.
The Drive to make fan games is stronger than the drive to make rom hacks, but, oh well.
And now, you know the status or future the rom hacks or rom hack. I will be streaming the hack to until I reach Marble Zone then all from there will be a secret.

So Masta I hear you are questioning yourself being an "unpatched cheater", and being self-destructive. I think it's time to clear things up and help knock some sense into you. So. 1 Stop being self-destructive. I know it's hard. It's easy said then done but you can come out of this hole. Where is that guy that can come up with something crazy?
Talking about Sonic Mania speedrunsaturdays in 2018, if you are wondering.
Calling your self a "Unpatched cheater", while yes, using a Unpatched version of a game in a event is cheating. There was no rule against it. Yeah. I may never have an edge on you. And I may never beat you but I suppose that is good. It gives me the drive to be better and try my damnedest to keep and one day beat you. Keep using unpatched and I will keep trying my best.
And let's talk about the name change and bio. One "Unpatched cheater", This was a silly in-joke that ran its course. It was nothing serious, After all, we are friends so we are going to come up with dumb shit or names. It would be different if we weren't friends and calling you an "Unpatched cheater" would be different. As much as I know this is true. I suppose there is no right or wrong way to play a game.
"Ruins anything he joins" This is a DAMN LIE AND ITS NOT TRUE. As your one of friends (If I am still a friend in your eyes). I will not have any friend of mine, self-doubting themselves. Look, you didn't ruin anything. Yeah, one stranger called you a cheater but that same stranger is not a speedrunner.
But you didn't ruin anything. You played the game. We call you an unpatched cheater, as it became one of many nick names that you got but as stated above, it has run it's course. Like, I didn't know. Communication is lacking.
But starting now Unpatched cheater is no longer a thing from me. Look. I know these are just "Words" and I doubt they will hold much weight to them.
So, why am I writing this? I get the feeling you don't want to talk to anyone but close friends. I feel you don't want to talk to me. But that's fine but I am assuming at this point.
I made this post cause a bird told me what happened which made me worry. I know I will never be a close friend to be able to help. I know I will never be close friends with a lot of friends but that's ok
You are my friend, and if, you somehow read this; know you have people who care about you. So lad. come back and beat and win this event. I know you have a game you will play that will WOW you but Sonic Mania is waiting for you, Partner.
