I've been deeply obsessed with the new Star Wars show Maul: Shadow Lord. I've been particularly invested in the parallels with Maul and the tragic Greek mythological figure of Sisyphus. What better way to combine the two by doing a master study of Fredrich John (1769 - 1843) Sisyphus etching?

Taking a moment to do some bo staff choreography studies just to get a feel for what Donnie's fight style is. I feel like his is movements are more grounded like Raph's rather than more exaggerated like Mikey and Leo. Thus here we are! Go my son, be epic Here is the original video. So good!

A little insight to the master-copy process

🖤💃🐎 𝒯𝒽𝑒 ℳ𝒶𝓈𝓀 𝑜𝒻 𝒵𝑜𝓇𝓇𝑜 🐎💃🖤     This is one of my favorite films of all time and I saw @trademoviespodcast talking about it on TikTok and FLEW to my iPad to make this!     This is a master copy of a poster by José Baena Márquez. I loved his shapes, color, and composition so much for this!     The Tango scene between Alejandro and Elena lives RENT FREE IN MY MIND! I had to have Anthony Hopkins as Zorro on Tornado, and I HAD to add Romneya Flowers in the corners💖 This film is truly magical from the message, to the score, to the amazing sword work and horse tricks, it has my whole heart 😩💖💖💖    Have you seen this movie? What’s your favorite part?

Did this mastercopy of "Printemps (Springtime)" by Pierre-Auguste Cot with Dante and Nana for @/ yuniichu's DTIYS over on Instagram! I love classical artworks and art history and this painting by Cot has remained a favourite mine for a while.
