🏴‍☠️💖😤 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐚𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬 is one of my biggest hyperfixations 😤💖🏴‍☠️   Now that I’ve turned 30, I’ve been feeling very nostalgic and turning to things that make me feel truly like myself. Sinbad was integral to my childhood and it was one of those movies where everyone was hot 😂 I even have memories of my little sister and I kissing the TV screen and begging my dad to draw Eris the Goddess of Discord for me.     Now as an adult I watch this film on repeat! I love the designs and the score, I love learning about how it’s a great pirate film but it’s technically not a good “Sinbad” adaptation because the writers decided to make it Greco-Roman inspired… and I love engaging with the queerness of “taking your friend’s execution sentence because you believe in him so much” or “physically abandoning your childhood BFF because he’s betrothed to a total babe”.     So here’s my little portrait of Proteus, Marina, and Sinbad wrapped in a little hammock of togetherness because what if “This is my boyfriend, Sinbad, and this is Sinbad’s boyfriend Proteus”🥰

✨🔮🌌 𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝒦𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝑜𝒻 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒢𝑜𝒷𝓁𝒾𝓃𝓈 𝒽𝒶𝒹 𝒻𝒶𝓁𝓁𝑒𝓃 𝒾𝓃 𝓁𝑜𝓋𝑒 𝓌𝒾𝓉𝒽 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝑔𝒾𝓇𝓁 🔮🌌✨       I watched Labyrinth with my family recently and was struck by the beauty of this scene of Jareth sending bubbles to Sarah before As the World Falls Down. THE GLITTER!!! I knew it was time!       What you don’t see in the time lapse is hours of sketching trying to get the right angle, anatomy, and perspective until I had to give up on the composition entirely and start anew on a different canvas with a different angle and I’m so glad that I failed a lot to get to a place where I knew it was right.       It’s almost like I had to go through my own personal labyrinth 😱      Which dark fantasy boyfriend should I draw next? 🐗💨💪 𝐈𝐧𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐤𝐞 🐗💨💪    My friend asked for a drawing of Inosuke for Christmas and so I set out searching for pose references for HOURS. I found some but the attitude just wasn’t there… Then I searched “Inosuke Cosplay” and I found the most amazing, inspiring picture of @churchofcleo ! Everything about this photo was too good!! The cosplay, the muscles, the background, the sun glinting off the sword! I had to draw it 😩     I’m so happy with how this turned out and it makes me want to do some more anime art💖    Who’s your favorite Demon Slayer character? 🗡️💜🪶 𝒜 𝒸𝒽𝒶𝓇𝓂𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓇𝑜𝑔𝓊𝑒 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝒶 𝒽𝒶𝓅𝓁𝑒𝓈𝓈 𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑜 🪶💜🗡️    There was a night I couldn’t sleep so I made a sim of my Rook from Dragon Age Veilguard and I was reminded of how much I love her design.     This is Vanita de Riva and surprise surprise I romanced Lucanis.     It also doesn’t help that I’d been watching lots of cameos by @zach.mendez playing out domestic life with Rook.     I need to do more self indulgent art honestly, sometimes I forget or don’t have motivation to do projects that are just for me.

Dragon Age x Princess Sofia Crossover!

I drew this for my sister as a Christmas and birthday present. I LOVE these meme inspired sketches!     It’s so funny to see the style clash of Disney kid’s show Sofia and Cedric VS the hyper realistic grunge fantasy of the Dragon Age Inquisition.     Varric and Sofia are my favorite interaction💖 And Iron Bull and Dorian teasing Cedric about his crush on the Warden is too sillyyyy! 😝😂

Crash!

The stained glass exploded inward, showering the ballroom with a kaleidoscope of colored shards. Through the jagged breach loomed a monstrous shape, a darkspawn ogre’s hulking form blotting out the glow of the moon behind it.

Evaline’s breath caught as the nightmare she had feared stepped into the light.

This was the first piece I commissioned from my sister, @s0alaina , for Once Upon a Warden. This was the tail end of Chapter 8 and the beginning of Chapter 9 where I feel the gravity of the crossover is first really, fully felt. There are a few awkward fish-out-of-water moments with Evaline in the earlier chapters, and a magical mishap, but the appearance of the Ogre really set the tone for me. It was also a great chapter to highlight how Cedric can act courageously when people are truly depending on him. Evaline may not have made it out of that fight without him.

It’s finally finished and I learned so much through the process of making it. Wyll is one of my favorite characters in Baldur’s Gate 3. I love how dashing, noble, and kind he is.    The original painting had some dogs and I thought that adding Scratch would be the perfect touch! HE IS THE GOODEST BOY😭💖 And as much as I love Astarion.. 🖤💃🐎 𝒯𝒽𝑒 ℳ𝒶𝓈𝓀 𝑜𝒻 𝒵𝑜𝓇𝓇𝑜 🐎💃🖤     This is one of my favorite films of all time and I saw @trademoviespodcast talking about it on TikTok and FLEW to my iPad to make this!     This is a master copy of a poster by José Baena Márquez. I loved his shapes, color, and composition so much for this!     The Tango scene between Alejandro and Elena lives RENT FREE IN MY MIND! I had to have Anthony Hopkins as Zorro on Tornado, and I HAD to add Romneya Flowers in the corners💖 This film is truly magical from the message, to the score, to the amazing sword work and horse tricks, it has my whole heart 😩💖💖💖    Have you seen this movie? ✨🎼🎆 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞, 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 🎆🎼✨    To no one’s surprise I loved this movie! The character design, style, humor, music, EVERYTHING was a joy to watch! I adored these girls and their stories! I think Mira might be my favorite but it’s so hard to choose… I LOVE THEM ALL 👹    I chose to do their final look (tHOUGH IM OBSESSED WITH THEIR OPENING LOOK THE COLORSSSS) and I chose their poses from Vogue photoshoots! I really wanted to emphasize the stylization of their long legs in fashion proportion and celebrity status🥰📸    Which girl is your favorite?   Are you a Huntrix Stan or do you stan The Saja Boys?   Should I do the Saja Boys next?    Let me know in the comments!

🥄🐸🪡 į էհօմցհէ վօմ Ӏìҟҽժ Ƒɾօց’ʂ βɾҽąէհ 🥄🐸🪡     This is Halloween creeping into your July! I revisited this Inktober piece I did of Sally back in 2018 and I had so much fun with it! Sally’s voice lives rent free in my mind and I can’t believe it wasn’t until recently that I figured out THE Catherine O’Hara voices her! Kenna and I dressed up as Sophie and the Witch of the Waste over on my tiktok, and I saw this picture promoting a production of Romeo and Juliet with @beth._.moulton , and the posing and costumes made me think of Sophie and Howl immediately! I’m so lucky to have so many inspirational friends and mutuals on my feed!    I also really loved doing a little study of the background from the Flower Garden scene😩🌸✨    I have a very important question: do you prefer Howl with blonde hair 💛 or his natural black? 🖤

I just loved the composition, the larger than life dress, and the iridescent bubble-like lighting ✨       This ballroom scene is EVERYTHING! I WANT TO LIVE THERE! The costumes, the music, the set 👹💖 And obviously Jareth 🥵 I think being taken away by the goblin king sounds like a party! 🤭🍑
