Yun Que was probably killed by Wufeng but Wufeng made it seem like The Gong Family did it so Yun Wei Shan would join the bride selection.
Gong and Wufeng both have reasons to kill Wufeng. In wuxia and xianxia, there's a fine line between the good guys and the bad guys.
Master Yue either loves her or hates her. Or both. He can be one of the bad guys or The Bad Guy.
