Matt is letting his Pokemon play in the pond up on the north-side of Violet City, does a Totodile join them in the game?

There is no pokemon to be seen.

Taking Poseidon out for a swim in the lake as it's further away from the city, and most people, on Route 35, Matt gazes around for a blue Totodile head popping up at the water's edge.

Not today...but have hope

Matt's down on Route 35 soaking his legs in the calm water of the pond. Do any Totodiles poke their heads out of the water?

The water is still and no pokemon in sight.

Too hot to sit around any longer, Matt makes his way to the lake on Route 35 for a swim with his team. Are there any Totodiles there as well?

The lake is unusually empty today.

While training his team under the heavy shade trees on the quieter Route 34, does there happen to be a Turtwig watching them intently?

The route is peaceful just like expected, no pokemon seem to be around.

Matt is taking Poseidon and Tiamat out for a swim in the lake on Route 35 and letting his other Pokemon play, too. Any chance luck is on his in bringing him a Totodile to join them?

Not today...
