My Life for the Past 2 Years
I had been serving Far Eastern University for 2 Years and 19 days now as a Database Person.
It was not the ideal job but I am thankful for what it brought me, especially to the Wizards Group (FEU's Oracle Support) who supported all my questions, I'm happy to say I'm few kembot away to finishing Oracle 11G OCA, thank you to Gab and Jonel for pushing me to be better, you ain't just a consultant, you helped me fix what I want to happen in my life.
2013 brought me back to my "second home", FEU Institute of Technology where I started my Master in Information Technology, to be honest, I never saw myself to be a DBA in a school setting, I really wanted to teach, which is why even if it is a ton of sacrifice, I go to school every Saturday. (and Friday for this term). I managed to shine my own I suppose, getting grades higher than I used to with my Bachelor's Degree. I've met some friends along the way, Earl, Joyce and Oliver who is already my colleague here in the university.
2014 is still half-way, I'm on my 2nd Year, hopefully to get my act straight until the final defense. I am striving to be better for myself, for my family and for the people who have supported me like Ma'am Bong and Sir Pineda who up to this day never stopped guiding me just like their own.
I also continue to write as a freelancer - accepting gigs whenever I can to develop my writing and grammar. ODesk has given me a reputable profile of all the clients I've worked for.
Where's LOVE in this picture? Oh well, it can wait. I still have an MIT and a Ph.D to finish, but seriously, I'm inspired and I just wanted it to stay that way.
