i've done a lot of these so i'm not sure what more facts to share hmmm :
1. I've recently started on a clean-ish eating journey. Gotten rid of all the processed foods and am only eating lean meats (no GMO or hormones), fish (fresh catch) veggies and fruits (organic) whole grains, etc. It's going really well.
2. I struggle with wanting to binge when I am emotionally upset - I'm realizing that I need to find better ways to deal with difficult emotions.
3. I am a recovering alcoholic 7 years sober and find that I still have to be very mindful about other addictive behaviors that raise their ugly heads - like shopaholism or binge eating.
4. It was through the help of a good therapist, psychiatrist and supportive hubby I got sober and got help for my bi-polar. 7 years ago.
5. Dealing with a mental illness isn't easy but it is doable and no one should ever feel ashamed for the challenges they have in their life.
