At Mastery Shoemaker, students were hard at work continuing their ancestor portraits.
This week at Mastery Shoemaker, we continued painting our ancestor portraits and worked on a value study.
At Mastery Shoemaker, we checked out the collage work of Romare Bearden (pictured above), enhancing our understanding of portraiture. Students used colored chalks, crayons, water soluble pencils, and watercolors to create patterns on colored paper, which they then used as collage material.
