雖然是主打商業片市場， 但不得不說葉問電影系列會使大眾 香港觀眾入場看。

作為一個香港人看從前香港的歷史， 別有一番風味，比以往的功夫片更有無比歸屬感。 畢竟除了打鬥戲，故事發展像在細說當年香港的境像。 葉問外傳在說當年貪污腐敗的香港警察跟 根深蒂固的本土/外國黑勢力。 以灣仔酒吧街為背景不錯👍🏻 殖民地身分能令香港這個小魚村變得繁榮穩定， 但從前的光輝是前朝香港華人打造。 葉問充分反映了一個民族的覺醒， 這系列除了是近年香港人常提起的電影。 在外國也是有一定程度受歡迎， 一來是功夫片，二來是老香港的魅力。
