Stressful day for Bookhorse. I’m experimenting with special effects available in Toon Boom, so this segment of video, though short, has about three of them. A blur effect, a gradually darkening background, and a slight camera zoom that respects where the characters and background objects are in 3D space. It’s all pretty neat for my level of stuff!

The nice thing about Peel Off is that I only have to draw characters as correctly as I feel like. This is Sunburst! If he were enormously fat and had a round babyface.
Tonight I worked on animation, and also on this. Chiggen challenged me to a shipping war and chat gave recommendations. Cardboard Twilight/Applejack won.
I started work on MAS -17 tonight! Chatpone features for a brief aside.
Peyton’s got clothes in her forward facing view, and now we’ve got a naked Peyton doll in profile! Tomorrow, more clothes, then monkey-butt.
So we spent tonight working on a new puppet rig for Peyton, learning some new tricks so that she can articulate around the joints with less redrawing. Also generally making her look a little prettier and more reasonable as far as anatomy goes, so now she can move without looking completely weird. . We’ll throw some clothes on her soon and remove those lines around the shoulders. She doesn’t actually have any bits below the censorship, but I can work off the “nude” set up and change her outfits. It’ll be important for Rae down the line, since she isn’t wearing her jacket in the episode this is for.
