Y'know what? I'm making this my first post referencing Lights Day because Lights Day in the city sounds like the PERFECT setting for a night-time-car-ride-music trip
Most of the cast either grew up in Taiga or has lived there for some period of time, so even after moving into the EAM house they'd all want to visit Sweet Jazz City for Lights Day
It is like, THE tourist attraction for pretty much all of Taiga, but most tourists get stuck waiting in the super-heavy traffic while driving through the crowded streets
Being locals, the cast knows the best way to experience the night lights is to drive out of the city and around the perimeter— the contrast of HOW bright everything is against the dark night sky is more easily visible that way, and there's no traffic
Giovanni makes a mixtape of techno remixes of traditional Lights Day carols and BLASTS it while Percy drives them around the edge of the city in the big ol' SUV
The kids all sing along. Some of the adults try to, but the "techno remix" part really throws them off
Molly (who's pretty proficient with her epithet at this point due to situations just like this) casts a muffle-bubble so it's not quite so loud for her, but she can still enjoy and sing along with everyone else
Gio pulls down the window and fist-pumps outside
Mera was never able to enjoy Lights Day in any capacity besides staying home and watching out her window (due to the crowds), so she secretly feels really excited to get to do something
Indus bakes everyone cookies and hands them out when people get antsy and hungry from being in the car so long
After the hype of the night finally wears everyone down, they drive back home to release the paper lanterns they made earlier
