Boduf Songs - This Alone Above All Else In Spite Of Everything Matthew the scarey man wears a huge coat and sits at school playing yugi-o cards!!!!!    He even spooked stutek hexen and i had to go get gramma lucy Matthew sweetie dont go by that name hes not a sweet careful boy he whispsers a bad song in the computter!!!!!!!!!!!! he has a doge on a leesh that you cant pet and has a dad and says bad words!!!!!                     he has cartoons on his arms that you cant wash off in the tub!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried to tell matthew my laughing jokes    and he put on his big boy dracula paint and screamed at gramma lucy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I heard hether the scary babe sitter is his girl fend he came over when she was babeysitting me and pettey and they kissed on the mouth and went on twiter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All in all though matthews wisper song from the 80's is very good and i wish gramma lucy didnt put it on top of the fridge!!!!! 10/10 stars aaahhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!jarred

Sonic Quality = Really Good

Boduf Songs is Mat Sweet from the UK. I'm just now learning of him and his interesting take on his music. His style is dark vocals, tons of unique noise, thrashy grungy guitars and it sounds really great on a good hifi. Especially “A Brilliant Shaft of Light from Out of the Night Sky”, with it’s creative use of a xylophone. The xylophone sounds huge and the acoustic quality of it lingers wonderfully. Although it's fairly dark and haunting, it’s innovative and really well done musically. Mat brings in instruments you wouldn’t expect to hear in this style of music and it’s that which appeals to me. It’s enjoyable to listen too all the way through and over and over. He’s also done a fairly job on the sonic quality of this record. It’s big sounding, it has good clarity between all the noise and natural instruments. It’s not crushed dynamically nor does it lack any depth. I’d suggest you get yourself a copy and show your nerdy hifi friends you have way better taste than them listening to their Nickel Creek records. Bodof Songs have released a video for the track Song to Keep Me Still.

Painstakingly designed and created by sole member Mat Sweet, the video is a gorgeous stop-motion piece of art.

The track is taken from the upcoming album Burnt Up on Re-Entry which will be available on 180g vinyl from the 28th January, while a CD version will be released on 25th February, both from Southern Records.
