Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardized national-level examination that has been administered since 1988 to assist Business Schools (B-Schools) in evaluating students for entry into MBA and associated programs. In 2003, the Ministry of Education of the Government of India recognized the MAT as a national-level examination. The MAT has now evolved into a modern admission test with fewer exam sections, enhanced subject emphasis, and a condensed exam time frame. As the largest test of its kind in the nation, the MAT will keep functioning as your gateway to more than 600 business schools throughout India.

MAT preparation is achievable in six months. Because the difficulty level is low to moderate, applicants can achieve high scores with minimum preparation in Data Analysis & Data Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, and Language Comprehension. To prepare for the MAT 2025, students must first pick on the examination phase (February, May, September, and December). Then they should review the MAT syllabus and MAT materials. Depending on your level of expertise with MAT topics, create a daily, weekly, and monthly preparation schedule. Finally, practice a good number of MAT mock examinations and sample papers.
