And for dear Harry Truman: 💀, and uh, I guess I don’t have updated emojis but pretend that I typed in the white diamond and the white inverted triangle
anger/violent headcanon: as an adult, i think that harry’s honestly fairly zen and doesn’t often feel the sort of anger he felt when he was younger (the incident with hank after the championship game changed harry forever and is probably one of his biggest shames in life). when he does feel angry about something, he’s usually able to walk it off or let it simmer down until it’s at a level that he can control and do something actionable with it. impulsive, sudden fits of violence like him punching albert are NOT typical for him and are something that he’s tried very hard to overcome.
quirks/hobbies headcanon: i mentioned in another ask that i think he enjoys birdwatching, orienteering, and hiking trail maintenance! i also ADORE the detail from the teleplays that he keeps chickens and immediately worked that into my mental composite of him. i think that raising hens scratches the same protective, sensitive itch within harry that being the sheriff does, but in a way that’s more on his terms and ISN’T a familial obligation. he talks to his chickens a lot, and has previously discovered inconsistencies or breaks in cases by discussing the evidence and suspects with “the ladies,” as he sometimes calls them.
aging headcanon: honestly… i think part of the reason harry’s cancer ends up being as severe as it is is because he just ignored the pain and the symptoms for as long as he could, and so it didn’t get treated early when it could have made more of a difference. harry doesn’t want to leave twin peaks for anything because coop’s gonna come back, any day now, and someone needs to be there for coop when he does… but the hospital in twin peaks is only so good, and when harry first starts feeling sick, he’s afraid to look into it, because he’s afraid it’ll be bad, and he’s afraid it’ll make him leave town and miss coop. and then he gets so sick that he CAN’T ignore it anymore, and it’s bad, and it makes him leave town and miss coop.
