Hi :::) i did smth really cool for uni and i think you'll all enjoy it

so i'm doing this class where we need to try and fix a problem (doesnt need to be a big problem. it can be anything) and I -being the nerd that I am- have decided to pitch 'fixing the World of Darkness lore for Australia (specifically sydney)" as my project for the trimester mainly bc i already have some stuff to work with (if yall couldnt tell) but also bc my other 2 classes are disgustingly intensive and I Need A Relaxing Class Too. (i say relaxing as if fucking indesign didnt eat my memory 3 times today ALONE.)

anyways, under the cut are some prototype spreads I did!

I know that WoD books tend to be set out horribly, so I'm trying to improve upon that here prolly failing tho lmao. i like having stuff be a lil' funky and artsy. my main focus tho is having the body copy be legible. BUT IF IT WERE TO BE A REAL THING i would probably do a chapter on each suburb, with some subsections for interesting things or people that can be found there (for example, redfern has Ded_Sec, and therefore Stonefist is there) I'd also maybe have the theme change for each place? just so everything has a unique identity, but that's supposedly bad for typesetting. idk yall i wanna make comics and play TTRPGs for a living lmao

but anyways, here's my prototype!!!!! i hope you like it!!

TADC THEORIES / TRAILER THOUGHTS UNDER CUT

Caine is definitely getting some sort of animated sequence

Caine and Zooble will have another scene again, probably similar to the therapy session in the third episode

Ragatha and Jax are gonna have a huge argument I can smell it. Ragatha seems panicked about something in one shot, plus another shot showed with Jax looking notttt happy-

Gooseworx did say these next two eps are both Jax and Ragatha centered now

Gangle and Kinger will probably not have huge roles but’ll still be there

Caine is also losing it in coming up with adventures because of that one shot with the notepad

Pomni seems to be involved somewhat in Jax and Ragatha’s argument, also talking to each of them separately (Jax seems to tolerate Pomni now because they have multiple shots talking to each other)

Ragatha also seems a lot more upset, maybe about connecting with the others? No clue yet but something is DEFINITELY bothering her
