Friday nights were always reserved for family bonding in the Navarette family. Whether it be everyone gathering at home to delight in some of their mama’s cooking or if it meant wandering around the Wood just to get some fresh air and enjoy bathing in the moonlight. But tonight, tonight Mateo was absent. If it were any of his other siblings he would simply assume them to be dead somewhere, but this was his youngest and most rebellious brother. It was likely he was off getting drunk somewhere and just forgot to come. Or he chose not to come. Either way, Sebastian was going to have to pay him a visit. Figuring he might be at Santi’s place above his studio, Seb looked there first. “Mateo,” he banged on the door, “Lo juro por Dios, you better be dead if you’re in there.”
