“I’d love to go to Mexico again. I didn’t spend enough time there when I was in university. There’s so much culture and history and vibrancy there that I want to surround myself with again.”

Mateo doesn’t say anything for a moment before letting out a quiet laugh. “I’m not sure if regret is the right word. Maybe...mourn the fact that I was turned into one? That may be more accurate.” Despite the answer he smiles through it. “But there’s no point in being mopey about something that’s irreversible now, is there? I just...prefer not to think about it if I can.”
