MAIN MATERIALS/PROCESSES I HAVE USED
Clay - I experimented first with clay briefly at the beginning of my project, I think it is a good material for mark making if you are unfamiliar with it
Wax - I have used wax in my work to highlight shape, form and lines. I really like the effect it creates, but it is hard to work with because of it's delicate nature. I also used wax for batik.
Hand stitching - A lengthy process but good for doing finer details and sewing small pieces together.
Machine embroidery - Great for doing fast drawing with thread or sewing larger pieces together/ working on a larger scale to add detail.
Brusho - Powdered dyes suitable for most materials, I mainly used for fabric dyeing.
Fine Liners - I used these in various sizes to do fast sketches.
