watching anime about teenagers as an adult is weird.
with swimming anime, i know that the point of it is to marvel at how sexy the characters are. and they are. but they're also like 15-17, which is too young for me to actually have the hots for. so i'm sitting there going "awwww precious baby awwww" and whenever anything bad happens to one of them i start feeling all maternal-like.
i am not actually old enough to be the mother of a 15-year-old. i was not fertile when i was 10.
i am not sure how to process animes like this.
so this morning i got up SUPER early to go to work (ie. half 5) which was really hard and then i was at work which was also hard and now i'm at home on the sofa with a billion blankets and i just watch an episode of soemthing where someone gives birth and i literally started crying about how emotional and amazing and incredible it would be to give birth and then meet your kid for the first time and omg babies
