Qualified Maternity Nurses looking for work experience - FREE service for parents.
Hi,
I am contacting you from Babyem Ltd, we are an established childcare training agency based in London and deliver accredited training to nannies, maternity nurses and childminders throughout London and the UK.
We have a number of newly trained maternity nurses (often with 5 years+ nanny experience) who are looking to gain un paid work experience, supporting new mothers with their newborns. The areas they are looking to support new mothers with would include:
- bathing new borns
- changing new borns
- providing advice/support regarding breastfeeding
- help around the house if required
- supporting parents with implementing a sleep routine (if parents wished to do this)
- helping the mother and family.
Candidates would have a valid CRB, First Aid qualification and we would check references. As an agency we would charge a small admin fee of £50, and candidates would have their expenses paid for by the parent. Candidates would be available to work for a minimum of 2 days, with many candidates looking to provide a free service for at least 4-5 days.
Maternity Nurses can usually charge between £250 - £300 per day, and this would be a great opportunity for experienced childcare professionals and new parents.
