Ask Binding Info

So my 13 year asked for a binder. They are like a b cup if that matters. I am going to talk to their pediatrician because I have heard binding can be really harmful. I know there are ‘safer’ ways to bind, but my understanding is that all binding is still harmful, there is just harm reduction.

Is there a way to bind or a binder that is not harmful at all, is safe, or as safe as wearing a bra?

Yo so my daughter is almost 3 and tonight she’s suddenly yelling ghost and using my arm to hide her face and crying? She hasn’t seen anything new on TV, I mean Paw Patrol has a Halloween episode but?? And then after I got all the lights on in the house and her settled she asked me to draw it? I drew the ghost emoji but that wasn’t right? Does anyone have any advice?

This of course doesn’t refer to things like health issues, but rather those of a social or practical nature. If they’ve been fighting with a friend, listen, offer advice, but don’t call their friend’s mom and demand they fix everything! As harsh as it may sound, our children will struggle, and at times things may even seem unbearable to them. But unless we teach them resilience, starting with little things, those tough situations will be that much harder for them to deal with.
