Visikon from Arsenalet is making the world a better place, on app of the time. In partnership with Copenhagen University, Visikon have developed a clinical Safe Delivery App for Maternity worldwide to strengthen quality of care of the front line health workers and help them better address some of the critical complications during delivery.

Maternity Worldwide believes that no woman should die in childbirth. Every year 287,000 women die in childbirth worldwide. One mother every two minutes. These deaths could easily be prevented. The sad thing is, most of these woman die from complications and/or conditions that are readily and routinely treatable in other parts of the world. (via Maternity Worldwide | Mom on the Run x2)

Another 7-10 million women and girls are afflicted with severe or long lasting illness caused by complications during pregnancy and childbirth.
