Finally caught up with Daredevil and I can't get over Matt having to smell Foggy's body at his funeral. Like in a morbid kind of way, he knows a body by it's heartbeat and by its sound. I'm horrified at the fact that Matt's realization that Foggy is dead is on another level than everyone else's.
He hears and smells and feels the husk that is Foggy. He smells everything that went into preparing Foggy's body. Smells the dirt and the wood and everything.
Everything that makes Foggy dead Matt feels so intensely. It's just a really morbid feeling.
