How long before a test do you typically start studying? How do you budget your time to study effectively in the weeks or days leading up to the test?

I'll normally try to start a few days before but if I'm really busy and I procrastinate a lot, it can be up to just the day before.

Some tips from me:

Study in breaks. Use the pomodoro method (i.e. study for 25 minutes and rest for 5 minutes)

If there are several topics tested in the test, study them topic by topic by day

If its a huge topic, study bit by bit

Remember that its just as important to stay hydrated and eat nutritious food as it is to study, never skip meals to study

Have sufficient sleep (i.e. around 8 hours at least)
