mathematicalmycroft replied to your post: Apparently, the GA board of education won’t pass...
WITH YOU ON THIS ONE WHY THE FUCK WOULD THEY NOT PASS SOMETHING THAT IS VASTLY SUPERIOR TO AP WHAT THE HELL
HOW ABOUT THE FACT THAT MY SCHOOL ALREADY HAS THE COMPLETELY USELESS CLASS CALLED BROADCAST VIDEO PRODUCTION, THAT NO ONE TAKES, AND TAUGHT ME NOTHING?
AND, OH, I NO LONGER HAVE A GROUP 4 CLASS OR EE TOPIC, SINCE I'VE ALREADY STARTED ON AN APPROVED TOPIC WITHIN FILM STUDIES. Excuse me while I try to resist the urge to murder whoever made this decision.
mathematicalmycroft replied to your post: Shit. IB scores just came out, AND I DON’T HAVE...
GOOD LUCK I AM ROOTING FOR YOU
THANK YOU. AP scores were a really mixed result of very good and not so good at all. I've no idea when I'll actually have access to the IB scores, however, because the teacher I have to email doesn't check his email but every two weeks. I think over half of the class has lost their log on information.
THE LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF THESE SCORES WILL EAT ME ALIVE.

the mantra of IB english
Very true. However, it's only a week into summer, and I want to write a philosophical essay for fun. IB has ruined me.

I got tagged in ... something.
Yeah, okay I’m pretty lazy when it comes to explanations like this, so, to keep it short, I got tagged in a thing and now I have to post answers to questions and tag new people…
Rule 1: Always post the rules.
Rule 2: Answer the questions the person who tagged you asked and write 11 new ones.
Rule 3: Tag new people and link them to the post. (and tag the person who tagged you so they know you dun it)
Rule 4: Let them know you’ve tagged them.
1. Which one is your favourite season? Weather season. Just so we’re clear on that.
Fall. I love falling leaves and windy days. The lowered temperature is always a great break from the overbearing heat of the summer. And the fall sunsets over water are wonderful too.
2. If you got to choose between becoming a pokemon trainer, a student at hogwarts or becoming a jedi, which one would you choose? (ONLY ONE!) Or would you stay the same? Why?
Well that goes easily down to just Hogwarts student versus Pokemon trainer. But I would have to go with Hogwarts student because that magical universe has been apart of my life for so long. And doing magic is great! I'm a Hufflepuff so life would be one chill ass party down by the kitchens. Like right up my alley.
3. Coffee or tea and why?
Tea. I don't drink coffee. That was easy.
4. What’s the furthest you’ve been away from home?
I've been to Seattle and San Francisco, all the way across the country and to Montreal so pretty far but I haven't left the continent.
5. Favourite food?
Shepherd's pie and Cottage pie.
6. Name three songs that could potentially make you cry.
Amazing Grace on the Bagpipes
The music from Harry Potter
That's really it though. I don't like to cry/ avoid crying at all costs.
7. What movie will you never get tired of? Not ‘what is your favourite movie’, no. What movie will you never get tired of. Note the difference.
The Boondock Saints, which is also my favorite movie XD
8. Name something that makes you drown in childhood nostalgia. (A song, a book, a film, a game, anything)
I Miss You by Blink 182 (it's my brother and I's song)
Braveheart the film
9. Photography or paintings/drawings? And why.
Photography cause I'm better at it. I like being able to freeze and manipulate time through photography. Also I am a film studies major so I like cameras in general.
10. What was your biggest ‘I UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING! IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW!’ moment you’ve ever experienced?
When I took Intro to Film Studies. It was like Oi, Dumbass! This is what you've been good at all along. You can make As and enjoy classes. Cause Film studies.
11. Is there something you’ve been a fan of as long as you can remember and you believe you’ll be a fan of for the rest of your life? Something you’ll never grow out of, and that’s not a bad thing.
Scottish Culture and my scottish heritage. Also Harry Potter for sure.
Time for my questions.
Hmmmmm
1. Most influential person in your life?
2. Favorite possession?
3. 3 things on your bucket list?
4. Best concert you've been to? (If you haven't been to one, your dream concert)
5. A movie that blew your mind?
6. 3 Most important traits for a life partner?
7. Longest amount of time you've been away from home?
8. Favorite Drink?
9. If you could travel anywhere (cost not an issue) where would you go?
10. Dream career?
11. Favorite cartoon growing up?
12. What was a major turning point in your life, when and where did it happen?

Okay.
So remember that one time at lunch, where you started telling a joke, and you got as far as, "Physics (or maybe it was math) is like sex-" before I cut you off and said, "How would you know?" And then everyone laughed and you begrudgingly acknowledged that you'd just been Mycroft-ed?
You're terribly dear to me because you didn't hold things like that against me, because I have this problem where if you leave yourself open for a snarky insult, you can count on me to seize the opportunity, and that seemed to happen to you a lot but we're still friends, so...
Also you do really nice things like send me and Jibran Christmas cards from across the ocean and give people the idea to nominate me as student speaker for graduation and compliment my baking and generally fear me, so, you know, I can't fault you for any of that.
You run the gamut between pedantic and amusing, and I did spend a great deal of my high school career threatening to hit you, but you're pretty cool, dearie.
(Even if you did compare me to Jasmine that one time even after I explicitly said not to.)
