maths rent!
I’m a maths fan and there is something fake fans say that annoys me:
“how does 1/3 = 0.333...... if 1/3*3 = 1 and 0.3333.....*3 = 0.999..... if thats right then 1 =0 because
1 = 0.99999......\ -0.99999......
0.000......1 = 0\ *1000...0000
1 = 0″
but that’s just not true! because
1 = 0.99999.....\ -0.99999.....
0.000000 = 0
you get it? because there will never be a final 9 there will never be a place where you can place 1 and it will make 0.999... a rational number. then what will make it a rational number will be 0.0000...
what we should ask is “how come this 0 has value and is positive if 0 is supposed to be neutral and value less?” or “how come there are 2 types of 0? how many types are there?” and “what does this mean?”
