Technology has changed the fan/actor interaction quite a bit. Now it’s really easy to communicate with a large group of people in a really short time, and that… opens a lot of possibilities. You can do a lot of things with it that you couldn't do before. It’s kind of fun to figure out how that can be employed.

Twitter Tips For Tweeters
Here's a few tips for more successful tweets:
1. When writing a tweet that starts with someone's user put a "." before the "@" symbol for it to be visible to everyone. Otherwise, it will only appear for the person you tweeted. You want to reach your widest audience and that's how you will create a stronger following.
2. Pay attention to what hashtags are re-tweeted. Certain Twitter users have a system that automatically re-tweets specific hashtags. Other users re-tweeting your content will gain you more followers!
3. Include pictures in all your posts. Visual elements are becoming increasingly important. Without photos your tweets can often get lost in the shuffle.

Twitter For Beginners: Part 1
Due to popular demand, here's a little tutorial on the basics of Twitter!
Twitter is a simple platform to use, but getting used to the shortcuts takes time. Setting up your Twitter account:
When creating a user name, use something unique and relevant. Clever usernames are a great way to get people interested in your Twitter. Try making a play on popular phrases or even cliches. Things to avoid: Using numbers in your username. Numbers are just additional text that your audience will have to remember if they want to tweet you. Furthermore, numbers can often be mixed up and lead to someone tweeting the wrong person!
Tweeting 101:
To start a tweet, click the button at the top right-hand corner.
Once a box has opened you have the ability to do a few actions. First you can create a text-based tweet. This can be 140 characters or shorter. Remember, if you write too much it won't allow you to tweet it.
After you've mastered the basic tweeting you can add additional elements. These include photos, locations, links, and hashtags.
To add a photo to your tweet, click the Camera Icon at the bottom of the tweeting box.
Adding photos is important to your business because it adds a visual element for your audience. In addition, photos are proven to increase the interest in your tweets.
The next element you can add is locations. Sometimes adding your location will be relevant to your tweet. A location is simply added by clicking the Pin Icon and typing in your address, city, or even country (if you don't want to reveal too much).
The next step is adding links. Always add a link, if your tweet is discussing a certain article, video, or general website. Nothing is worse than reading about a certain website and not being able to find it yourself. To add a link, simply copy and paste the link into the tweet box. This will count towards your 140 characters. However, Twitter has a great system that will automatically shorten your link to something with less characters - that way you don't waste too much space.
The final step to basic tweeting is using #Hashtags, which you can read about here.
