Who wouldn’t love to spend 8 hours with me on a Sunday? Well, this girl definitely didn’t mind it! We went from a natural level 3 hair to this. Beautiful blonde with white tips. When I approached this project, I knew that I had to go in not too strong but not too weak. If I went in too strong, the hair would start to get compromised and I would have to pull out the foils before it got to the level I needed it to be at. If I went in too weak, the hair wouldn’t even get light enough and then we would have too much natural pigment in the hair remaining. So I went in with 13 volume and Olaplex. I also ended up reapplying bleach with 20 volume to get us that extra level of lightness. I then toned her twice. The first one was to cancel out any yellows that were still in the hair. And the second toner was to lock in the tune and ensure that the color wouldn’t wash out. Honestly, the hair was much more ashier than this photo depicts. I am having a hard time taking after photos in my new hair salon because I think it’s a combination of the gray walls and the yellow lighting coming directly above from the ceiling. I will eventually figure it out. But this hair has a much more silver tone to it. I’ll tag her and you can visit her page to see what I’m talking about. Anyways, here is it. My latest hair project.
