who starts putting up decorations in october? - Not october. But Matsuo starts pulling things out of storage in November. His opinion is that its just so much work to put up decorations, that you might as well have them up for a long time so you can enjoy your hard work! Ebumi thinks its silly to decorate so early, but he cant say no to Matsuo.
who buys the advent calendars? - Matsuo most likely. But they probably have one they can use again each year so they never forget to buy one.
who places mistletoes all around the house? - Neither. They have a cat that they dont want to eat it. But, Matsuo finds a sprig outside that he surprises Ebumi with one day. Matsuo tries to hold it over his head and kiss him, and Ebumi just blushes and calls him dumb.
who wraps the presents for other people? - Matsuo bc gifts for others need to actually look nice.
who puts the final star/angel on the top of the christmas tree? - Matsuo. Ebumi won’t admit its because Matsuo can reach better.
who’s the one that hates eggnog? - Ebumi. He had never tried it before Matsuo offered it to him once, and now he makes a big deal about kissing not kissing Matsuo if he’s been drinking it until he washes his mouth out with something else.
who’s the one that bakes christmas cookies for guests? - Matsuo. But, his baking is limited to precut cookies he can just put on a sheet then put in the oven.
who sends out the christmas cards? - If Matsuo wants it to get done, he has to be the one to do it. But, they have been known to forget to do it until the day before christmas eve. Its not the highest thing on their priority list.
who knows all the words to twelve days of christmas? - Ebumi, and it always surprises Matsuo when he starts singing it under his breath when it comes on the radio.
who’s the better snowman builder? - They’re pretty equal in talent, but Ebumi is faster. He can have a whole fam of snow people up while Matsuo is finishing his first one.
who starts snowball fights? - Matsuo. Ebumi thinks about it, but then decides he can’t hit Matsuo. But Matsuo, oh boy. If Ebumi has his back turned, he’s getting pelted with a snowball. And by the time he turns back around, Matsuo looks sooooo innocent. Like who, me? I would never. (But, then he pops Ebumi with another one and the snowball fight is ON)
who’s the one that wakes the other on christmas morning by playing christmas songs really loudly? - Ebumi doesn’t wake Matsuo up with christmas music, but he does wake him up crazy early. Matsuo later thinks Ebumi’s pure enthusiasm is cute, but. Man, he just pulls Ebumi back into bed and holds him still until he stops fighting back and stops trying to get him out of bed.
