On the subject of sketch comedy, I spoke to League of Gentleman legend Mark Gatiss on Newsnight this week. As someone who started out in a sketch group of three men of varying sizes (we came about a decade after LoG and were much less successful, obvs) it was great to able to talk to him about satire, the BBC and playing Peter Mandelson.
