Band Alleges Matt Malpass Swindled Them, Starts GoFundMe
A fledgling band out of Arizona, Something Like December, have started a GoFundMe to recoup costs after they say they tried (and paid) to record an album with producer Matt Malpass (Dance Gavin Dance, All Get Out, Train). More info is here, but it doesn't sound great.
We returned the next day and again knocked for a long while. We reached out to his neighbors, who know him well, and noticed his back door was wide open. His car was also out front and badly damaged (they informed us the damage was recent). Obviously concerned, his neighbor decided to enter the house to see if Matt was ok. He found Matt unconscious in his bedroom, surrounded by alcohol containers. We were asked by Matt via his neighbor to come back the next day at noon, which we agreed to.

Final Thoughts: BUY. I’m a huge fan of Tilian Person cause his voice is just so orgasmic. This review might be a bit biased, but I believe that he is a ridiculously underrated and under-appreciated artist, and deserves all the recognition he can get.
