WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?
I'm getting stronger in my nightmares.
I've gone from being paralyzed and voiceless to, a few nights ago, grabbing my abuser by the shirt collar and growling, "If you ever lay one finger on me again, I will kill you. Do you understand me? I will kill you."
And last night, in the midst of dreaming about a zombie apocalypse, I also dreamed that an abusive ex got mad at me for disobeying some secret rule of his, and decided to punish me. I dreamed that I woke up to him with a tiny dremel grinding my teeth down. It was incredibly painful and I was spitting out mounds of fluff that used to be my teeth, and I thought, "Fuck this. Fighting for my life against zombies is way better than this." And I told another woman who was holed up with us, "I need you to know I'm getting out of this, as soon as I can, maybe even tonight. I just wanted you to know."
From what I experienced and observed those who say don’t forget or leave me are the ones who do!
When I hear those words I kinda freeze coz I know they are subconsciously telling on themselves. They are projecting!
Ladies protect your heart. These boys/manchildren don’t know what they really want!
