Twenty years later, Artie Abrams makes a tell-all documentary about the REAL lives of high school show choirs. Which three (or more) characters would consent to be featured, and what sort of things would they talk about?

ooh fun ahahah well starting off rachel definitely would participate

rachel would talk about glee club being the foundation of her success, and her whole life, really, then about how the love and support of her fellow glee clubbers gave her the strength to pave the road to broadway. cut to mr schue saying that he really saw the makings of so many stars in the whole group. “those kids were so talented,” he says. “i can’t believe it’s been twenty years—they shine just as brightly. they’ll always be special to me, they were the first batch. i will always be honored to call myself their teacher, i can only hope they’ve taken my lessons as they do great things with their lives” cut back to rachel wiping tears from her eyes.

continuing for his own segment schue talks about how even in school they really fought for underdogs and minorities and outcasts and he did his best to nurture those seeds of passion, about how people really push down and bully the ones that are different but are really just ahead of their time. he shares the tale of how he fought for the right to twerk at mckinley high

artie intersperses the sound bites abt the other glee kids with archive footage of stuff like mercedes and santana forming the troubletones out of protest, a shitty covert cellphone recording of kurt protesting the britney ban and schue yelling + sending him to the principal’s office, multiple super zoomed in grainy shots of tina making faces as she is constantly put on background vocals. none of those ppl consented to the footage but most of them just ignore it and lets artie have this. santana posts an ig story series live-roasting the doc as she watches

after the end of schue’s segment, there’s a recent clip of matt rutherford being interviewed outside, like artie ran into him while out in the city. “yeah i liked hanging out with you guys,” he says. “i don’t think schue knew who i was, though, he kinda didn’t give me anything to sing the whole year but i had fun showing off my dance moves with my buddy mike and everyone. i said hi to mr schue when i saw him a couple years ago and he thought i was just one of his kids from spanish class.” offscreen, artie asks if he remembers anything from spanish class. matt laughs while shaking his head

that’s three and for the new directions section of the doc, but i feel like artie would wanna get people from mutiple groups for variety like from the warblers (artie has to heavily edit this part because sebastian smythe sends lawyers after his ass for even the slightest news of sebastian namedrops), vocal adrenaline (jesse and rachel share abt their storied love affair like its romeo and juliet), aural intensity etc etc lmao

Matt Rutherford does the documentary, we all know what he'd talk about. Idk I just think that's funny.

Rachel would also do it, but would just spend the whole time talking about herself/what she did in glee, unintentionally proving Matt's point. (Like I'm imagining cut up scenes of Matt talking about how they ignored him and then sped up clips of just Rachel talking... Artie would be messy like that)

And for my last choice I'd probably say Tina, it just seems like the sort of thing she would do 😭 Also it's Artie and Tina so I feel like she'd kind of just get dragged into it either way. I feel like it'd also be funnier if instead of talking about being left out or wtv like Matt, she'd decide to focus on telling stories about the choir room from her perspective and it would just be like a bunch of the things that happened in the background (like "never seen before" plot lines)
