Scootayiko is a mixture of English (scoot) and Malayalam (ആയിക്കോ - ayiko). It means to escape from a problematic situation. The word is used by youth in Kochi and later gained popularity in other districts of Kerala. The song is from the movie Honey Bee. Composed by Deepak Dev, it echoes the beat and language of Kochi from machane and bro to tripping, etc. It's quite catchy. Do take a full listen!
