Heya everybody, Kitty here! And oh boy, many of you may be wondering, what the HECK happened to your channel!? Well i'm here to explain it, both in full and short.

Long story: A few days ago, I tried out a new editing software I had on my pc for a while. Adobe After Effects. After editing this exact video here, I noticed I didn't have the media encoder (which is required to render the vid) turns out though, as I was downloading this in a rush, I had downloaded a virus (since it was cracked and not legit). This virus caused all my data on both my local and harddrive to get decrypted, which I was not able to decrypt so all my art, animations and stories I have worked on over the span of 4-6 years are gone. Except for like the 5% of it that I posted or saved online. (these drawings were still saved on my laptop cuz I was too lazy to delete it, however I did have to re-edit) This loss of files crushed me obviously, but I had no time to mourn as this virus also leaked ALL my data, from my Google to my Youtube, to my Overwatch and even my bank accounts. I was absolutely powerless over my whole Youtube, therefore this person started posting scams and unlisting my video's. These past few days i've been working my ass off to get all my accounts and data secure, whilst not trying to break down and give up :) I ended up getting most of my things back, including my Youtube today. Not everything is back and i've secured some things, but I don't know for sure since they went into my Twitter the other day even with the password changed. So if you see anything strange still, do let me know! But this is basically what went down.

Short story: I had download a virus, which encrypted all my local and harddrive files causing my art, animations and stories that i've worked very hard on for 4-6 years to be lost. It also got all my personal data and every account I possess. This including my Youtube and even bank accounts. I managed to work it out with Youtube and got it back today, the rest of my accounts should be secured now too, but there is still mild uncertainty.

I hope this clears it up and i'm really sorry having been so powerless in all this. I kept my discord up to date: etcuGBWYjV and you can check it out next time you see something strange. I want to thank everyone on my Discord and different platforms as well for reaching out to me and offering me their help. It really warmed my heart and kept me going knowing so many people were supporting me during this whole thing. So one big thank you to all of you, you guys are my world. I guess you could say this video is a bit of a homage to my life's work being taken from me in one night, hence the title. I will not let this stop me, but it was definitely a hard blow. I'll try to keep looking to the future and not think about what I lost. .......................................................................................

Conclusion: Be super careful with what you download guys, even if you really want it. Do proper research and always back up your files. Be safe and think before you do. Don't be stupid like I was, being hasty never solves anything. I've learned it a couple of times before, but i'm certain I won't forget it this time. Sorry for the long fricking description, it was quite a rollercoaster i'm not gonna lie lol. Having said that, have a wonderful day guys. Take care!
