In this large panel (the artist often works on smaller formats around 30 or 40 cm per side), Massagrande (1959) seems to play with the tile decorations on the floor, which predominantly feature cool blue tones. Despite the chaotic interplay of patterns, the tiles retain their charm, symbolizing the noble aspect of a building that has become worn and neglected over time.

Also typical of Massagrande’s style are the antique colors of the walls and the numerous windows and doors that turn his interiors into labyrinths with various paths of escape.

En este gran panel (el artista suele trabajar en formatos más pequeños, de unos 30 o 40 cm por cara), Massagrande (1959) parece jugar con la decoración de azulejos del suelo, en la que predominan los tonos azules fríos. A pesar del caótico juego de motivos, las baldosas conservan su encanto, simbolizando el aspecto noble de un edificio desgastado y descuidado por el paso del tiempo.

También son típicos del estilo de Massagrande los colores antiguos de las paredes y las numerosas ventanas y puertas que convierten sus interiores en laberintos con varias vías de escape.

In questo grande pannello (l'artista lavora spesso su formati più piccoli, intorno ai 30 o 40 cm per lato), Massagrande (1959) sembra giocare con le decorazioni di piastrelle del pavimento, che presentano prevalentemente toni blu freddi. Nonostante il caotico gioco di motivi, le piastrelle conservano il loro fascino, simboleggiando l'aspetto nobile di un edificio che nel tempo si è consumato e trascurato.

Tipici dello stile di Massagrande sono anche i colori antichi delle pareti e le numerose finestre e porte che trasformano gli interni in labirinti con varie vie di fuga.
