アーティゾン美術館ですが、ブリヂストン美術館より名称を改めて新しくオープンいたしました。ご存知ない方もいるかもしれませんので、説明しておきますとAXIS（雑誌ならびに六本木にある商業施設）もブリヂストンが設立したもので、デザインに対する造詣もかなり深い会社です。8o年代初めにAXISが創設されたときのAXISギャラリー初めての展示がエットレ・ソットサス展で当時のムーブメントだったメンフィスを初めて日本に紹介した場所でもあります。80年代の日本のデザインのムーブメントで重要なことはかなりの部分でAXISで行われていた正直、聖地のようなところです。倉俣さんとの繋がりも当然強くいくつものプロジェクトを依頼しています。そんな必然性もあり、オブジェのラインナップは決まりました。今回の仕事ではデコレーションというよりはキュレーション的な側面も強く、なかなか素晴らしい作品を置くことが可能になりました。 正直、カフェの飾りというよりは美術館の展示品でもおかしくないものたちでもありますが、普通にピカソとか、ロスコとか草間とか古美術から現代まですごいものがあるので、それに比べれば。。まあ。。というところです。またさらに普通にブリヂストンがかつて依頼した倉俣史朗の椅子とかも置いています（座れる!!）ので、それらの貴重な品々に比べれば。。。やっぱり。。まあ。です。 正直言いますとデザイン部門を作っていただけると素敵なコレクションをしていただけるのではないかと思います。国立でデザインミュージアム作るより100倍いいものになりそうな気がしますけど。やってほしいなあ。 Artizon Museum has changed its name from Bridgestone Museum. Bridgestone has a lot of knowledge about design. Actually they established AXIS which has design center in Roppongi and started to publish AXIS magazine in the early 80s. They exhibited Ettore Sottsass as their launch at the gallery and introduced Memphis at the first time in Japan. Most of important things were rising there. Also, they have a strong connection with Shiro Kuramata. So, I think AXIS is the holy place for Japanese 80s design movement. This is the reason why I was selected. These objects are so great pieces, usually it’s difficult to adopt for the decoration of the cafe.But Artizon museum has more fantastic work as their collections such Picasso, Rothko, Kusama and so on. Moreover at the entrance of Museum, you can sit on Kuramata’s commissioned work offered by Bridgestone before. They are so precious and wonderful pieces. このプロジェクトでは、そこそこな長さの棚部分のデコレーションとなりました。棚は亜鉛にダークグレーの染色(多分アルマイト）でよくみると亜鉛独特に表面の質感があります。照明が仕込んであり、オブジェが映えるようになっています。ちなみに美術館全般のデザインはトネリコ @tonericoincです。 棚はソットサス 、メンフィス、倉俣史朗のオブジェとそれに関連する書籍で構成しています。ソットサス のメンフィスのガラスシリーズ、シルバーのシリーズと丸富の漆のシリーズ。メンフィスのマテオ・トゥンの陶器に、倉俣史朗のアクリルベースとスターピースのブロックです。 書籍はメンフィスの有名タイトルが２冊と倉俣の最も重要な英語のタイトル１冊。あとはソットサス の書籍ですが、こちらはあまり有名でないタイトルを中心に選びました。 At this project, shelf is long and decorated many objects. Shelf board is zinc dyed in dark gray, probably anodized. Lighting systems are set on shelf to illuminate object beautifully. All designs of this museum is Tonerico @tonericoinc. Objects are made up of Sottsass, Memphis, and Kuramata’s. Also related books are displayed. Sottsass’s glass works for Memphis, Silver works for Memphis, Ureshi works for Marutomi, Matteo then ceramics for Memphis, Kuramata’s acrylic flower vases and blocks of Star Piece. There are famous two titles on Memphis and important English text Kuramata title. 先日、オープンいたしましたアーティゾン美術館@artizonmuseumにあります１階カフェスペースのディスプレイを担当させていただきました。 何かと話題のスペースです。ちなみにこちらのエリアは、特に美術館を利用せずとも誰でも利用できるスペースとなっております。 機会ありましたら是非足を運んでいただければと思います。 SOMEWHERE TOKYOではアート、家具類のコーディネーション（一式でも、部分的でも可です。）作家のコミッションによるアート、家具なども受けております。アート色の強く他にはない特別な設えをご希望でしたら、法人個人を問いませんので、是非ご相談ください。 提案書等作りしますので、建築家、デザイナーの方からもお待ちしております。 We took part in decoration for the wall shelf of the cafe on 1st floor of Artizon Museum which has been open recently.
