This is one of my favorites! The first time I watched Lunopolis, I felt the most mind-fucked I've ever had after viewing a film. It's a documentary style picture about these filmmakers investigating a supposed conspiracy that there are men on the moon, there always have been men on the moon, and these men have the capability to travel in time and alter our history and change the future. I haven't ordered this yet to add it to my own movie collection, and I have no clue why not. In fact when I finish typing this review of it I think I will! I highly recommend this picture to everyone! It's partly hilarious, it can be terrifying, it really makes you think... While many don't enjoy it or found it confusing and stupid, I thought it was fantastic. It's very interestingly styled. The Church of Lunology, honestly, makes me look at Mormon missionaries completely differently now. The story does jump around a lot. It's kinda of frantic, but I feel like that is totally necessary and justified. It makes it feel more like real life. I felt like I was a part of it, because the editing felt so much like a human perspective in that situation. I think that is the biggest appeal with the fake sci-fi docs anyways. To appeal more to your physical interpretation of the world and fear. Lunopolis is definitely worth a view, and it's on Netflix's instant streaming, so it's easy to get a hold of. Y'all should check it out!
