Matt is a rather tall boy, around 6'2''. This, unfortunately to him, allows him to stand out in a crowd. He has dark brown hair that's short, but unruly. He has a square jaw, and his eyes are small, slanted, and brown. His face is usually pretty straight. He doesn't show a lot of expression, and often, he looks bored. His nose is straight and a bit prominent on his face.
He possesses an interesting body type- he's rather skinny, but with broader shoulders. His legs are long, giving him a quick pace and making him a rather fast runner. He's especially pale because he never goes outside.
Personality
Matt is an extremely aloof and lazy boy who doesn't really care about most people, especially those of the female gender due to events in his past. He will, however, show emotion with those he's close to, but in an awkward way because he's not comfortable with it. It's not often that he grows dedicated to something- whether it be a person or an activity- but he will not leave it alone once he does.He's fiercely loyal.
He's prone to argument and will pick fights over the silliest things. He can be a little selfish and whiny, especially when scared, but Matt has a good heart and wants to help those who are struggling when worst comes to worst.
Past
Matt lived in a broken household with a neglectful mother and a fearful father. Because he didn't have a loving environment, he felt that he wasn't worth anyone's time. He found solace in music, particularly whiny rock songs that would justify his feelings. He became bitter and developed an inferiourity complex, picking on one girl in his class so that he would feel like he was above someone- Nokki. No one liked her anyway, and he thought by being mean, he was doing everyone a favour. However, he slowly began to realise that Nokki was a nice, gentle girl, and over time, he began to try and be nice to her, but it was hard considering he was so tough and insensitive. When Nokki left, Matt promised himself that he wouldn't get close to any other girl in order to always keep his feelings for Nokki and make sure that he made things right with her because he feels responsible and guilty for her leaving.
Matt decided to help Annika when she was in a rough spot because he felt it was his duty to. He tried to keep his distance, but Annika proved to be someone he could be friends with. When she mentioned she was going to attempt to stop gang warfare, Matt had hope that he could find Nokki. He tagged along, but soon realised that he isn't sure WHAT he wants and also what is most important to him.
Extra
Matt sings when he's by himself, but he cranks up his stereo really loud so no one will hear. He jumps around and does every part of the song- the drums, the guitar solos, and the vocals. He does ridiculous movements, too. It's... interesting to watch.
He always has his headphones with him.
