He was high almost all the time during this episode lmaoo I bet Matt was privy to some really homoerotic Mikey Walters rambling while they were living together

But yeah, the whole episode is just so....affectionate. Mikey wearing Matt's clothes, taking comfort in his presence, remembering fond times together. They're everything!!

last night I listened to eps 54 of wbg and it’s mentioned that Mikey listens to brown noises aaaand I immediately had to think about your post where you mentioned that Matt listens to those to fall asleep to,,,, and now my mattkey brain is like who showed who the brown noise??? was Mikey recommending it to Matt bc he wanted his to help him get a restful sleep??? AHHHHHHHHHH

(sorry for this crash out lmao 😃)

It was mentioned in episode 36 (specifically Mikey waking up screaming and then later asking Matt if he heard anything, and Matt telling him that he doesn't hear much because he listens to brown noise when he sleeps)

Buuut I really love how from there on, Mikey mentions listening to it a bunch, especially when they go and build Base. Like, his friend mentioned something that helps him sleep and it's just little thing but even months later, Mikey has adopted this small habit of Matt's and is using it in his everyday life.

And that's what woe.begone is all about, baby!! The small yet permanent ways in which Matt's presence in Mikey's life shaped him!!
