St. Petersburg based Matt Kress is best known for intricate fine art combining figures with complex layers of geometric designs. In 2018 the Tampa Bay Buccaneers football team sponsored Kress's first mural, painted for the St Pete Arts Alliance (SPAA) and the annual Shine on St Pete Mural Festival. SPAA reports that Kress's colorful pirate ship composition is sadly no longer visible.
