Oct. 4 ~ Scooby-Doo Ending (Friday the 13th Part 5: A New Beginning, 1985) In retrospect, naming the fifth installment of the Friday the 13th series "A New Beginning" was a dead giveaway. I still never expected the killer to not be Jason Voorhees but Roy Burns the ambulance driver whose son was murdered in the start of the film. It took me some time to get used to the idea of someone posing as Jason. Granted, the blue streaks on the mask was also a warning sign. It's still not high on my own personal rankings of best Friday films, but the movie does have its own charm.
