Daredevil had to choose between Karen or Foggy to rescue. He tried to rescue Karen, making her be the most important person and be the first person to be killed.

Karen died, Daredevil rescued Foggy and they escaped.

Matt was sad, desperate and felt guilty for Karen's death.

Foggy was sad, desperate and felt like it should be him who's dead.
