if you factor in both maul’s treatment of lasher and gideon adlon saying that devon views maul as a father figure of sorts, you get a maul who is simultaneously a girldad AND a boymom

lasher & saxon is like your gym teacher who had your dad in class & hated him while lasher & rook is like your childfree aunt who collects katanas & lets you drink in her basement

..that last line thing reminds me, i love when ppl ascribe maul & lasher a familial relationship. bc the jury’s out on whether it’s father-son or brothers, both in-universe and among ppl who’ve seen my art of/read abt them
