Daisy didn’t mean to laugh, but the scene before did bring some sort of hilarity to the otherwise dreary topic she was dealing with, right now. Any distraction was welcome right now. That chuckle faded into a smile and she looked down at her notebook again, till the shadow looming over caught her attention. Not a confrontational person by nature, the girl swallowed her hesitation, but didn’t really dare to look up.
