Mohan in Hope County is like an elephant in a 711 parking lot. The food is repulsive, the puzzled looks locals give him when he tries to speak infuriate him, the bodies hung up everywhere trigger his PTSD. He becomes a lightning rod for brown members of the resistance, though he never quite meshes with the tactics and attitudes of the rest of them. He’s a rebel, but he’s a Kyrati rebel. His tolerance for western methods of warfare is exceedingly low.

Believe it or not, Joseph is enjoying himself tremendously in Kyrat! The air is good for his lungs, and the tea is amazing. King Min’s ban on false, foreign gods is like a scalpel, Joseph it’s ready, willing wielder. He gives sermons over burning statues, hunts down holdout monks, destroys temples. He doesn’t approve of De Pleur’s excess, but they work well together, and Joseph is a pragmatist at heart. They become the strangest kind of friends.

Pagan believes wholeheartedly that the fact that he murdered their actual dad means he has now assumed all Dad Privileges ala Kirby swallowing an enemy. And yes, he fully intends to hold onto these acquired rights, no matter how old Yuma gets or how unbothered he is by the other half of the Ghale household getting a triad sidepiece.
