Aren't you supposed to be worrying about what to smoke next with that pipe of yours, he was supposed to say, but held his tongue and just sighed. Yotsuyu will not understand the culture of raw worms enthusiasts. Certainly not when she cannot even differentiate regular unsightly worms from tasty small worms. It's almost like an oh, worm moment.

"I guess it is."

He didn't want to explain to her of all people.

That's easy to answer! Right now, in no particular order:

Heavensward Era threads (and interactions with the characters who saw Lahabrea be an evil advisor to Thordan)

Amaurot threads, because I love seeing everyone's take on that era

Fighting threads. I haven't stretched those writing muscles enough

Scion verse threads and teaching threads, particularly if they include scholars pestering Lahabrea about ancient empires

botanical headcanons: anemone for seti!

anemone :   how does your muse view the world ;   as a cruel   &   unforgiving place ,   a land full of wonders ,   or something in - between ? where does that world view come from   (   what experiences ,   life lessons ,   etc .   ) ?  

seti’s view on everything is kind of a make-up of everyone around her.  i like to think a lot of aspects to her are just pieces of the people she loves  (  everything is love,  everything is about love!!!  )  while she still has seph’s core and memories,  and later far more of her personality,  in the beginning it’s just her,  trying to find her way through the dark to something meaningful and real !!!  but minifillia probably has the biggest impact on her.

i don’t really consider min to be the most important scion to her,  but i think her message of hope really sticks with seti,  beyond min’s death,  beyond the losses she sustains,  beyond everything.

seph never had the kind of wide-eyed innocence and adoration for the world that seti has,  at least not in the same way  --  viewing it,  experiencing everything,  as new and fresh,  from eyes untainted by anything else.  seti doesn’t mind the inane things people ask of her  --  delivering love notes like she’s not the warrior of light but some common messenger,  helping small people.  the most tiring thing to her is the god killing!!

aloe :   how does your muse handle grief ?

     Due to the fact that he's already lost so many people and largely feels responsible for their deaths, Link doesn't tend to handle grief very well. Whether it's an instance where he's regained the memory of someone's death or losing someone in the present era, he tends to shut himself away from others when he's grieving.

     Not only that, but his tendency to push himself will often become worse, as there's often a part of him that will always blame himself. Thus, he feels the need to atone for his failure. Snapping him out of this mentality can be difficult, but when its managed, an emotional breakdown is very likely to follow.

amaryllis :   what is something or someone that your muse takes pride in ? how do they express that pride ?

     Once he manages to catch some, Link takes quite a bit of pride in the horses that he owns, and this can be seen by how well he takes care of them. When they're not being boarded at a stable, they tend to be his preferred mode of transportation, and he does his best to keep them as safe as possible while on the road. He also tends to spoil them with treats and actually enjoys grooming them.

     Many would likely be surprised by how good of a cook Link is as well. When in the company of others, he's often the first to volunteer to cook meals and tends to preen under compliments regarding his culinary skills.

AAAHH my trap card has been ACTIVATED

he’s a character for a friend and my’s d&d universe,  named kasra.  he’s a fae king that sacrificed himself to save his people,  and has become the body for a sentient brand of magic,  essentially losing himself to it.  he’s strictly,  unironically,  in every way a villain,  but he does have that thread of sadness  &  grief  &  tragedy that i just adore in villains,  and the way i get to write him is just....  it’s so extra sdfgklsdjfh.  my prose for him is so flowery in a way i don’t usually get to write for other characters,  and really,  distinctly different.  of all my characters,  he’s definitely my favorite,  and one that has a very strong voice in a way my other writing may not.

carrion bird in bloom,  a cosmic monstrosity in heaven-bathed light.  he is indolent in insolence;  a smile syncopated against the animalistic grows beyond the doorway,  and the vicious sound of claws to wood.  the door caves inward a moment.  a harsh,  groaning sound echoes  among the interior,  and does little to draw his attention.  from where he leans against the wall,  shoulder jammed to half-rotted wooden slats,  he smiles.  the void of his eyes flickers in constellations.

"frightened?"  he taunts in a voice meant for hymns,  from those first beings who descended on shafts of light to say,  do not be afraid  (  they lied,  of course  ).  but he is hungry,  ravenous;  the event horizon.  "beg me for my aid.  perhaps i will acquiesce."
