Our topic is about ‘Online Gaming’. Online Gaming is any video game that requires a person to play and interact with other players such as Mobile Legend, Call of Duty, League of Legends, Valorant, etc. With these Online Games, are you sure that you’re playing the right game for your age or knowledge?
A lot of people are debating if online games should be banned, especially the one that have violence features such as shooting or killing. According to Ms. Yu-Jin Lee, an experienced news reporter from ABC Thailand, online games are the major cause for the current increasing number of child crimes. Some say that Online games can reduce people’s stress, lighten depression, improve communication skills and improve decision-making skills.
There’s a lot of debate about this topic but yet they cannot ban some online games. As a person who plays online games, we should educate children about these kinds of games with the help of the parent. I believe that everything should start by talking to your child and communicating with them to use video games properly.
Therefore, I conclude that they should not ban every online game because every gaming company has a policy that every child should be informed. With parental guidelines, every child that uses online games will have a better knowledge using and handling this kind of games.
