The last performance of Xenos in a few hours - what will be Akram’s last solo full length performance - this doesn’t mean he will stop dancing for those who keep suggesting so - it’s impossible for Akram to NOT dance - his daily 3 hour practise is literally the life-breath that fuels him to live - so I don’t weep for his relationship with Dance as it will only keep getting deeper… BUT I do weep for the fact that new audiences will no longer get to experience the depth of his Art through his solo work - my deepest respects and love to you my dear Brother - thank you for taking me on your journey - it has allowed me to experience so much Beauty
