I have often said to dancers that to feel the hand of God one must truly Surrender - not intellectually but physically...

"Vertical Road" / Akram Khan Company
It’s funny how some pieces of art come back to mind few years after we experiment them. I like to think it’s always relevant, even if i can’t see straight away why. The universe and memories aren’t that lazy for it not to be. This is one of them. I was thinking about it this morning when i woke up. It’s such a powerful choregraphy that it still lives in me and has shifted my own view about the world and human beings at one extend and for good. Make sure that if Akram Khan company plays in your town to never miss it.
I had a dream. I met Donald Glover and we became really good friends, we laughed until we cried and climbed a vertical road because it’s still a dream
